Sally Kettle

The last few weeks have been amazing - I cried when when book finally arrived on my doorstep. I've bags a big fat copy all to myself and the rest are, obviously, up for sale. About 500 down, 4500 to go before we can place an order for the second edition.

The book launch party, held at the Fishmarket Gallery in Northampton went brilliantly. My plans to drink myself into a well deserved oblivion went out of the window. With so much to organise I didn't even get a moment to sip from my one glass of wine.

I've also recently met up with 'the other Sally Kettle'! She's a model who won Miss England a few years ago. Amazingly she lives just down the road from me, on the same named street! Weird. We knew about each other after friends 'googled ' our names and were a little confused when the wrong Sally came up. This is probably not that interesting for you, but there aren't that many Sally Kettle's out there, but each one us is very special! ( :
