"In an age where autobiographies are spawned on the back of winning - or
even losing - Big Brother, Sally's amazing journey across the high seas is
notable for its wholesomeness. Reading her story, I was immediately gripped
by the grit and determination with which she and her mother approached the
challenge. That they fail to set any new speed records across the Atlantic,
or even place well in the 'race', made the book more appealing in a sense.
In the end, it's a story about a mother and daughter reconciling their past
in the most obscure of circumstances. Sally was a pleasure to work with, and
we're all very proud of her and Sally's Odd at Sea."

Well I’ve finally had chance to sit down and spend the whole day reading...and got to the end about 2 hours ago....It’s really brought a few things home to me to be honest.... the realities of being out at sea in a 23ft boat are even more harsh than [I was lead] to believe. I can only admire anyone that even attempts the crossing!
Just one problem... I’ve realised I’ve never had any ferrets... never mind let them go or strangled them... methinks I need to find some somewhere before I start wasting the rest of my life away!
